Cycle Ride Test
On Tuesday 14th Feb I did a test ride along 27km of the South Downs Way from Upper Beading to the A27 near Lewes. I tried out the bikes, clothing and equipment. I also got an eye in for the waymarking. The weather was in our favour as it was cool but bright and with a slight headwind. The route took us past Devils Dyke and Ditchling Beacon. I enjoyed the ride even though it was quite tiring as it was probably the hilliest ride I have ever done. The test ride has confirmed that the ride will be a good challenge and I am now deciding how to do the ride.
