Ben's Borneo Files

Day 1 completed - 50 miles and a huge amount of ascent - as much as Ben Nevis! Up and down all the way. One puncture and one fall, but we’re in one piece!  Stop for lunch Day 2 is Houghton/Amberley to Southease, near Lewes (30 miles). The day will start with fixing the puncture and then a cooked breakfast at Amberly, before heading out for the next leg.

Ready to set off on my 100 mile cycle ride on the South Downs way. Weather is looking a bit variable but should be good for the ride.

Now due to go ahead for 30th May to 1st June (delayed from Summer 2023 due to my broken arm) I’m planning on doing a sponsored cycle ride along the South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne in 3 continuous days.
